Hello D’Licious Fans,
This is officially my first blog post and we have a bit to share. We have been open for officially two years! We look forward to more years ahead. We are working hard trying to find a permanent home, where you can visit us on a daily basis. While we do that we continue to provide bake to order goods and planning our pairing events with local vineyards and breweries to bring our unique pairings.
Currently we are working out of the wonderful kitchen at Troop 60 Valley St. Which if you are lucky you may find our cupcakes on the menu. The people there are awesome the food is amazing, drinks incredible and you’ll find the coolest atmosphere.
Recently I brushed up on my decorating skills at Satin Ice’s Cake Fair. Sating Ice is makes fondant and gum paste products which I love to use for its taste, colors, and smooth texture. I saw some incredible sugar art, so beautiful and realistic you almost feel bad eating it.
We are also working on redefining our menu so when we do finally find a home we can offer you some more D’Licious options and not just desserts. We want to continue to offer flavor pairings using local wines and beers. We want to offer savory options that come from my mother’s Colombian recipes. We will continue to offer D’licious desserts with Latin roots and local flavors. Stay tuned for upcoming event in 2018!
